Lauren Crooke
Crooked Images | Tour Du Nood
Crooke’s photography style is largely inspired by the depiction of women in renaissance art, with the #metoo movement as the catalyst. Since realising the positive impact her photoshoots and art were having on those who participate or viewed it, Lauren has been dedicated to galvanising like-minded people through her photography, and using art as her vessel for change, aims to break through the barrier of the long dominating ‘male gaze’, by presenting women and non-binary people deserve to be seen and represented and allowing women to see themselves like they never have before.
Lauren is also known to run photography workshops and feature in guest speaking roles talking about her craft, activism through photography, and being a studio owner and businessperson.
